- The miraculous story of Mary begins with a young, innocent girl, completely unaware of the monumental role she will play in history. She is to marry the humble carpenter Joseph. Suddenly, her world is upended when she learns that she is carrying the son of God. She and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, while a shepherd in the field has a miraculous visitation and wise men watching the movements of the stars realize that an ancient prophecy is about to be fulfilled
