- Summary
- Richard Hannay allows a woman who he met at a music hall performance to stay at his apartment for the night. The next morning, he finds his guest dying with a knife in her back. Fearing the thugs who've followed the woman and the police who think he killed her, Hannay flees. Escaping to Scotland by train, Hanny follows a clue the dead woman was carrying
